ਮੋਰਿੰਡਾ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਬਡਵਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, 7 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਕਮਲ ਨੂੰ ਥੈਲੇਸੀਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਹਫਤੇ ਜਾਂ 2 ਹਫਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਖੂਨ ਚੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਕਿ 10 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੱਕ ਪੱਕਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੈ, ਬੋਨ ਮੈਰੋ ਅਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਤੇ ਉਸ ਲਈ 30 ਤੋਂ 35 ਲੱਖ ਦਾ ਖਰਚ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਹਾਲਤ ਤਰਸਯੋਗ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੀ ਸਹਿਤਯਾਬੀ ਲਈ ਓੁਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਏ ਕਿ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ, ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਮਦਦ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਪਰ ਓੁਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਪੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਫੜਿਆ

Living in the village of Badwali in Morinda, a family is desperately seeking treatment for their 7 year old son Kamal. This child suffers from a serious illness called Thalassemia. The effects of this illness prevent him from producing hemoglobin which is an important part of red blood cells. This type of blood disorder can cause various types of complications. Luckily doctors have advised that he has a high chance of recovering if surgery is performed earlier in age by way of bone marrow transplant. The family has approached the government in their home country but have not received assistance. They are now relying on you and are humbly requesting you donate to this cause so that Kamal can have a chance of living a healthy life.
